From the recording Far Hills

The lockdowns of the 2020 coronavirus pandemic left us with ample time to think, read, and wallow in the seemingly endless stream of bad news. One story that caught our attention described a trend of farmers purchasing large swathes of land in northern Canada to capitalize on the creeping climate change that would soon melt permafrost and create viable farmland. We found this example of human adaptation profound and unsettling. This tune is the soundtrack to the journey away from home and the discovery of a new path.
